Depending on the depth of the well and arrangement, casing pipe diameters, wall thicknesses, steel material and tooth type are selected and targeted with high safety coefficients. The diameters of the casing pipes vary between 4 ½” (114.3 mm) and 20” (508 mm) according to the API standard.Casing pipes are screwed together like other well pipes by screwing them together.
